UK Bailiffs coverage directory

Find bailiffs near you across England and Wales

Find regional coverage for commercial rent recovery, commercial lease forfeiture, private-land occupation, excluded occupier eviction, temporary housing, process serving and specialist property support.

We coordinate an appropriate agent or operational team after reviewing the service, authority, location, urgency and risk. Our coverage pages do not claim that we maintain an office in every town.

UK Bailiffs enforcement coverage across England and Wales
England and Wales Commercial, possession and private-land services coordinated nationally.
Appropriate personnel Certification, experience, location, risk and supporting resources considered.
Scotland distinguished Scottish notice and sheriff-officer coordination—not English bailiff powers.

Finding the right attendance

The nearest agent is only one part of the decision

The service, legal stage, documents, premises, occupation and known risks determine who can attend and when.

Certificated enforcement agents are allocated where certification is required. Other instructions may need locksmiths, process servers, security personnel, vehicle recovery or specialist contractors working as one coordinated team.

Urgency does not remove legal requirements

Availability for an urgent service does not bypass a statutory notice period, valid termination requirement or court process. CRAR, forfeiture, excluded occupier and land-recovery instructions are assessed according to the route that actually applies.

Regional and city coverage

Choose the closest coverage page

The links below describe operational coverage, not a separate branch office in every location. If your area is not shown, send the complete postcode and the outcome required.

Yorkshire and the North

Regional and dedicated city coverage for Leeds, Sheffield, York and surrounding areas.

London and the South East

Coverage for commercial premises, private land and approved enforcement-support instructions.

Wales and Scotland

Use the correct national page because the available legal routes and personnel differ. English enforcement powers are not presented as applying in Scotland.

Choose by required outcome

What do you need UK Bailiffs to achieve?

Location matters, but the required legal and operational outcome should determine the service route.

Recover commercial rent

Use CRAR for qualifying net commercial rent where the statutory conditions are satisfied and the lease is to remain in force.

View CRAR services →

Recover commercial premises

Consider lease forfeiture where a valid right to forfeit has arisen and recovering possession is the objective.

View lease forfeiture →

Recover privately owned land

Traveller, trespasser, occupied-vehicle and associated site support for suitable unauthorised private-land occupation.

View land recovery →

Remove a genuine excluded occupier

Status, termination and the proposed method of recovery are checked before attendance. We do not proceed on a label alone.

View excluded occupier eviction →

Recover temporary accommodation

Controlled support for councils, providers and operators where the accommodation, occupancy status and correct route have been reviewed.

View temporary-housing eviction →

Serve legal documents

Process serving for court papers, orders, demands, notices and other approved legal documents across the UK.

Frequently asked questions

Finding bailiff and enforcement services near you

Do UK Bailiffs cover areas that are not listed?

Potentially, yes. Send the complete postcode and required service so that distance, agent availability, legal stage and operational resources can be assessed.

Do you have an office in every listed town?

No. These pages describe service coverage, not a separate branch office in every location. UK Bailiffs coordinates appropriate personnel through its operational network.

Can the nearest bailiff attend immediately?

Not automatically. Authority, documentation, legal procedure, risk and availability must be reviewed first. Statutory notice periods and court requirements cannot be bypassed.

Are bailiffs and enforcement agents the same?

“Bailiff” remains the commonly used search term. The formal role is often certificated enforcement agent, but the personnel and authority required depend on the service being carried out.

How do I request attendance?

Use the instruction page or call 0330 133 1818 with the complete postcode, relevant documents and required outcome. Submission starts an assessment and does not itself confirm that an instruction has been accepted.

Not sure which route applies?

Send the postcode and explain the outcome required

We will identify the information, legal route and operational personnel needed to assess the instruction.
