Governance · people · evidence · performance
A procurement-ready view of the company, people, controls, reporting and escalation arrangements behind UK Bailiffs’ enforcement and specialist property services.
A client’s first decision
Client assurance should not depend on broad statements. It should identify what is publicly verifiable, what is controlled because it changes over time, and who remains accountable when an instruction moves from acceptance to attendance and closure.
UK Bailiffs provides an open assurance summary for initial assessment, then supplies current insurance certificates, schedules and supporting controlled documents securely during procurement or onboarding.
What a client can verify
The assurance model follows the life of an instruction. It establishes authority, allocates appropriate people, manages risk and conduct, preserves evidence and leaves a clear client record.
The legal route, client objective, documents, scope, limitations and decision contacts are reviewed before work is accepted.
Identity, certification, experience, competence, conflicts and role suitability support allocation.
Known hazards, welfare information, access, third parties, resources and dynamic changes are assessed.
Identity and purpose are explained. Information is heard, vulnerability is assessed and decisions remain proportionate.
Attendance records, photographs, notices, BWV references, decisions, exceptions and outcomes support review.
Operational, compliance and senior-management escalation routes remain clear through closure and review.

Corporate and regulatory assurance
Corporate standing and registration details are available for verification. Documents that expire, renew or contain commercially sensitive information are controlled and supplied through due diligence.
Insurance: current certificates, policy periods, insurer details and relevant limits are supplied securely. This avoids obsolete schedules or policy numbers remaining publicly available after renewal.
Instruction lifecycle
Every service has route-specific requirements, but the control sequence remains consistent enough for portfolio governance and exception review.
Objective, authority, documents, geography, deadlines and acceptance conditions.
Known hazards, vulnerable persons, access, police history, resources and specialist support.
Certification, experience, competence, location, conflicts and availability.
Identity, purpose, authority, dynamic assessment, communication and proportionate decisions.
Times, events, notices, photographs, BWV references, result and residual risk.
Client report, exceptions, complaints preservation, senior review and improvement actions.
Vulnerability and fair treatment
Fair treatment begins at instruction review and continues through contact, attendance, reporting, complaint handling and closure. It does not remove lawful authority; it makes decisions informed, proportionate and reviewable.
Safety, BWV and people controls
Reporting and performance
Reporting is designed to establish what was instructed, what risk was identified, who attended, what occurred, what decision was taken and what remains for the client.
| Record | What it establishes | Typical client use |
|---|---|---|
| Instruction record | Objective, route, documents, scope, constraints and contacts. | Acceptance and authority audit. |
| Risk assessment | Hazards, affected persons, controls, resources and dynamic changes. | Safety and mobilisation assurance. |
| Attendance record | Times, personnel, engagement, material events and result. | Case review and chronology. |
| Evidence schedule | Relevant photographs, notices, site condition, access and keys. | Evidence and asset record. |
| Outcome report | Action taken, residual risk, client attention and next step. | Closure or further instruction. |
Core service levels
| Service or control | Operational target |
|---|---|
| Traveller and trespasser deployment | Within two hours of an accepted instruction. |
| Lease forfeiture | Next-day attendance for a complete instruction received by 3pm. |
| CRAR Notice of Enforcement | Prepared for issue by the next working day after accepted complete instruction. |
| Initial risk assessment | Within one hour where the service standard applies. |
| Client outcome report | Within two hours of attendance completion where operationally practicable. |
These are operational targets, not guarantees. Acceptance, contract terms, complete information, legal route, geography, risk, resources, third-party availability and events at the scene may affect delivery.
Illustrative client document
The precise fields are agreed for the service and portfolio. This example shows the level of decision and outcome information available to a client.
